Pupils in greater numbers than ever in its long history…
St John’s School, Sidmouth is a local, independent day and boarding school for boys and girls age 2-18, overlooking the sea in Sidmouth. Providing an all-through education, the majority of pupils at St John’s are local, day pupils (up to 200) with up to 50 boarders from more than 10 different countries.
As part of the IES group of schools St John’s also offers unparalleled access to education opportunities in other countries. Many of our pupils have studied for half a term or longer at one of our sister schools South Africa, Hungary, Spain or Florida, enabling them to experience different communities and cultures and giving them a truly international outlook.
St John’s is the only school in the South West authorised to teach the globally recognised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme following on to IGCSEs, GCSEs and A Levels.
Buses run from across the region – from Axminster, Exeter, Lympstone/Topsham and Honiton.
St John’s welcomes local pupils to the school – and offers local fees for pupils living within 15 miles of the school postcode. Headmaster’s Awards are also available worth up to 50% reduction in fees. For more information please visit www.stjohnsdevon.co.uk.
