It's fantastic news, from the Feb/Mar issue of Devonshire magazine,…
After what’s turning out to be a year and a half of steady work, the Home Design Yearbook is almost ready to send to our printers. This great information and reference guide will be a totally unique product, available to purchase through outlets such as Waterstones, WH Smith, Amazon and directly from the Devonshire office by phone. We were always conscious that what we didn’t want to produce a directory, but a publication that would showcase some of the excellent work completed by Devon based home-sector businesses. The Yearbook is presented in a highly visual format and it’s a great antidote to the internet, where you can literally spend hours and ultimately become extremely frustrated with your results.
The Editor Nigel Jones said “I’m really excited about this publication, yes it’s been very hard, slow work but it’s turning out to be genuinely useful, and the Industry Professional pages written by business owners and directors has the sort of information you just can’t find anywhere.“
Actually, the home improvement sector is one of Devon’s most important in terms of the size of the industry, and more than ever, the public are striving to find reputable, experienced businesses that will undertake their home projects. Many of the public are aware that trying to buy professional help cheap just doesn’t work, and are more than prepared to pay the extra for quality and integrity of the completed work.
What’s great for businesses included in this publication is the extreme breadth of marketing channels exploited by the Yearbook (see below). Also it’s a great investment in terms of providing the ultimate branding exposure for their business, particularly as there’s just a single cost to appear year-round. See the Yearbook at both the South West Home & Garden Show in April and also at the Devon County Show in May, where Devonshire magazine will have their own stand for the Yearbook at each show.
