A visit to Honiton
The old market town of Honiton lies on the old Roman Fosse way. For many, the ‘Honiton’ name is associated with lace production which is rumoured to have been brought to Honiton by Flemish refugees in the mid 1500s. Honiton these days, is a vibrant, busy place with street markets.
