A visit to Newton Abbot
If you don’t know Newton Abbot, there’s much more than immediately meets the eye. It has one of only several Cider Bars in England, which was once a farmhouse and orchard. Also The Pharmacy, now a well know tea and coffee shop, still sporting its original mahogany pharmacy cabinetry, as well as a most excellent museum (don’t forget Isambard Kinddom Brunel lurked around these parts, he’s featured in this museum) and an excellent shopping centre, including a ‘proper’ department store.
