A visit to Topsham
An unusual town situated on the Exe Estuary. At one time, Topsham was a major trading port – much wealth was evidently generated from trade, this being reflected in rich architectural detail. Trading between Topsham and Holland is very evident in the many Dutch gables on riverside properties. Topsham has an excellent little museum that’s well worth visiting.
