Artist – Mike Bernard
North Devon based artist Mike Bernard’s work is know for the distinctive combination of collage, acrylics and pastels that all meld together, providing great textural depth, and in combination with “happy accidents”, ultimately giving a semi-abstract, impressionistic feel, that engages the imagination. Mike has a classical background, completing his Post Graduate studies at the Royal Academy, London, in 1981. He was elected to the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours in 1997.
Much of Mike’s work is available through the Marine House at Beer art gallery
