Miniature jewels abound in spring. It’s a time of year in Devon, where the countryside is festooned with so much beauty that it’s hard to take it all in. Trees bursting with greenery, woods scented with the astringent, hyacinth smell of bluebells and the strong garlic odour of ransoms.
