The tang of burning wood in the air, sparks flying,…
Red Arrows – a brilliant display at Sidmouth this year
Our attempts last year, to get photos of the Red Arrows in Sidmouth (where the Devonshire team are based) turned out to be a damp squib, with murky grey skies and low light, the formations kept their flying out over the sea, with the flying time reduced. This year however, everything was right, clear skies, bright sun and crowds, massive crowds in fact, all eager to experience these wonders of the sky, work their magic in 3d.
Congratulations are due to the Red Arrow team for putting on a spectacular display, when they fly, you are always aware you’re experiencing the highlight of our summer season in Devon.
In Devon this year, the Red Arrows have flown at Torbay (12th June), Dawlish (August 19th) and Sidmouth (August 26th). Unfortunately, that’s it now for another year in Devon!
