Salmon Fishing on the Exe
The river Exe was once a prolific salmon river in years gone by, with the tragic decline in stocks impacting from the middle of the last century. Salmon still come into the Exe river system, but the decline points to possible extinction in future years. We take a look at the age old tradition of netting in the Exe estuary.
